Myosotis Arvensis Field Forget-me-not Herbaceous Annual Flower

FIELD FORGET-ME-NOT
The field forget-me-not is one of our loveliest wild plants. It sometimes turns up spontaneously in fields, and spreads capriciously through a garden if you ever sow it there. Just pull the plants out of places where you don’t want them. They will, in fact, germinate only in loose soil, preferably after it has been dug over.
Just sow a patch of them in spring, and enjoy the minute sky-blue flowers with their golden eyes. If you sow directly in the garden in April, the plants, 8-20 in tall, will flower from July. They are ideal for a natural garden.
The Myosotis arvensis Field Forget-me-not is a herbaceous annual of the genus Myosotis. The flowers are 2-5 mm large, and clearly pale blue. They stand in small groups dense at each other. The flowering period runs from May to late in the autumn.
